We toured Limestone on the day after Christmas with Angel. She was fantastic with her knowledge, facts, anecdotes about the Beam and Dant families who produced the man who created this distillery. We were provided with samples from the beginning of the tour with the cocktails that came with our ticket until the end at the flight tasting. We were given chocolates to accompany the different whiskeys and Angel provided “tasting tips” as well. Blake created two amazing cocktails for us! He was a fun guy! And I cannot forget the cat who could (literally) open doors! It was a quick seeming tour, fast paced and brimming with information and history lessons. Highly recommend!
Comfy location with a very enthusiastic tour guide and his adorable dog! Great cocktails. Nice outdoor patio. The tour isn't real long so it's very good for people who have trouble standing or walking for long periods of time but want the distillery experience. Lovely staff as well!
This is a good tour of a distillery, they do not have ages there barrels here so it is just the distilling you see. The tasting at the end is great in their bar with 5 bourbons, chocolate and you get a glass.
I'm not a bourbon or gin drinker, and I still left with a bottle! Holy jeepers, the tour was a BLAST! Our guide Gabe was amazing, knew the history like he lived it, and was so passionate about the products and the company. The production floor was awesome, and learning the distillation process start to finish really helps you understand and appreciate the complexity that is Kentucky Bourbon.
An absolute must visit stop if your on the Bourbon Trail, or even if your just passing by!
Derrick was great! He made our drunk, which was amazing. Natasha was a nice and personable tour guide. Great overall experience.
What a great way to spend an afternoon. Excellent tour and tasting in a beautiful little distillery. We can't say enough good things about it. We've been on tours at other bigger distilleries and this one was so unique in comparison. Our tour guide, Blake, was a wealth of knowledge, and hilarious. I recommend sticking around in the lounge for a Minor Case old fashioned. The bartender was awesome. We'll definitely visit again and recommend to our friends!
Great tour. Not a lot of walking. Tasting followed, which was great. You get a Limestone Rocks glass to keep. Brooklyn was an amazing guide, personable and funny. If your looking for something short, sweet, yet very informative, this is it. Highly recommend.
Excellent tour and tour guide. While many of the big distilleries are nice to see, this smaller craft distillery is a must to get the feel for the true bourbon experience. The distillery cat, Corky, makes the experience even better.
